Why does NBC think we’re all fanboys?

Here’s a little piece of advice to NBC and the Today Show. It does not matter if the new movie about the 1991 Crown Heights riots starring Michael Richards and Mel Gibson is being released by your ‘sister company,’ or the latest reality show in which contestants try to lose 200 pounds to fit into the fashion line they are creating so they can find true love while raising eight children is on one of your sister stations. There’s no such thing as an NBC Universal fanboy! This isn’t an X-box or the entire Sam Raimi filmography! So stop telling Matt, Meredith, Al and Anne to give us the damn ‘sister company’ disclaimer at the end of EVERY entertainment story, because we DON’T care and it isn’t going to sway our decision to view whatever it is you’re promoting.
