Well I’ll be doggone!

I had a total conceited moment this morning. I’m leaving my house for work, and as I’m about to get in my car, my mind is wandering to thoughts of work being over and me being home for the day, when out of the corner of my eye I see someone coming up the street with two dogs on a leash. I quickly did a double take, because my mind was thinking, “damn, those are two beautiful dogs.” That was immediately followed by, “actually, they kinda look like my dogs.” And that was followed by the realization that it WAS my dogs. Danny had taken them out for a walk while I was in the shower. It was like I was having an out of body experience and seeing them from a totally different perspective for the first time. Unfortunately, my mind never thought, “and who is the hot guy walking them?”
